Noya Rao Remote Dieta

DAILY ZOOM MEETINGS – 90 MIN.

9AM (EST), 2PM (GMT), 12PM (AEST)

JANUARY 16 – 26, 2025

Open your heart and connect to a truly profound medicine. Spread over 11 days, this Dieta offers students the opportunity to uncover sacred knowledge that Noya Rao has to offer.

Fully translated in real time from Spanish to English. All courses will be recorded and students will receive lifetime access.

Post-Dieta Private Integration Session

Following your Noya Rao Dieta, you will receive one individual support session with our team. These sessions will offer you the opportunity to discuss your dieta experience and work through tangible solutions to any real-world problems you are facing that prevent you from fully integrating this work.

Day 1: Noya Rao tea preparation

You will have the unique chance to prepare your tea from the sacred Noya Rao tree’s barks in the safety of your home. You will be guided by a recorder video to make the Noya Rao extract, and you will receive an indication of how to set up the dieta at home.

Day 2: Intention Setting and Opening Ceremony

You will meet with your instructors in Zoom for the first session and the opening ceremony. After sharing your intentions on a beautiful ritual, Don Miguel will sing his Icaros to you. This will sign the official beginning of the Noya Rao Dieta. This opening ritual is vital as it publicly acknowledges the significance of your commitment and helps to strengthen their determination to succeed in their immanent fast and shield you from any negative energies or interference from spirits that may occur during its course. This ceremony also supports the bond between the Master Plant and the individual to form.

Day 3: Fasting

Fasting is an essential component of dieting a Master Plant or teacher tree. Don Miguel will invite you to fast for 12 or 24 hours after drinking the first cup of Noya Rao extract. After the 12/24 hours fast, you will be allowed to eat a simple meal containing no oil or salt, or any of the foods they have committed to abstaining from for the duration of their dieta.

Day 4: Lecture and Noya Rao Icaro’s class

On a Zoom meeting, you will learn the Shipibo tradition of the Master Plants and how to work with your pipe by Don Miguel. Don Miguel will also teach you about the significance of the Noya Rao icaro that you can use throughout the Master Plant Dieta. This knowledge will be vital in helping you to access your highest potential and realize deep healing and transformation.

Day 5: Breathwork and Sound Healing Journey

This will be a beautiful practice where you will be working with a feminine style of breath called Clarity Breathwork. This breath brings to light the power and simplicity of breathing into the body with intention. Bringing more awareness to your breath’s quality can open up more clarity in every aspect of your life. This guided breathwork will be paired with sound healing with various instruments and singing to support the journey. This container will allow you to connect more deeply with yourself, your diet, and Noya Rao.

Day 6: Guided Somatic Meditation and Movement

This Meditation will help to deepen and expand how to listen to the wisdom of your body. We will explore through seated meditation and movement, the more subtle aspects of your felt sense of experience. By developing more communication with your body, you will be able to handle, identify, and understand your emotions more freely. This practice will introduce how to navigate all emotions and how to move them through the body rather than the mind.

Day 7: Self Healing, Self Resourcing, and Self Love

This workshop will focus on the importance of learning how to self-nurture through times of difficulty or discomfort. Before, during, and after this dieta there may be things that arise that are uncomfortable. This is very much a part of the process and is a wonderful opportunity for healing. In this workshop, there will be a guided meditation, teachings on various ways to self-resource, journaling prompts, and self-love techniques. You will be deep-diving into identifying what you need and, more specifically, what best supports and nourishes your spirit.

Day 8: Medicine Singing Circle

During the Medicine Singing Circle, we will share the virtual microphone with the vircle. You are also welcome to offer medicine songs, icaros, mantras, practice your Noya Rao icaro or listen and receive from the group.

Day 9: Integration Workshop

This Zoom workshop is meant to support you in finding the practices that integrate into everyday life, the relationship created with Noya Rao, and how to grow strong foundational roots like a tree.

Day 10: Closing Dieta Arkana Ceremony

After one has fulfilled the terms set out of the Master Plant Dieta, a closing ceremony will be conducted by Don Miguel on Zoom, which signals the end of the fast and celebrates your dedication and determination. The closing usually takes the form of chanting of a special arkana, a protective icaro by Don Miguel sang individually.

Day 11: Sharing Circle

This Sharing Circle is similar to the sharing circle we hold after the ceremony; it will be an opportunity to speak from the hearts without interruption. A beautiful way to seal our container together.

Testimonials

Preparing For Dieta

Shipibo curandero traditionally used fasting, a diet of master plants, and seclusion from others to seek guidance from the plant spirits and obtain vital knowledge needed to provide profound healing.

Before you can communicate with plant teachers, you must undergo a rigorous process of mental, physical, and spiritual purification. The Dieta is usually accompanied by abstinence from sex, pork, red meat, sugar, alcohol, caffeine, and processed food. Abstaining from any substance or activity that might cloud the mind is essential for the plants and trees dieta to promote physical healing and spiritual transformation.

Eliminating certain foods from your diet before the start of the Noya Rao Dieta demonstrates your commitment and dedication to healing and creating the foundation necessary to effect profound changes of the body, mind, and spirit. It is possible to continue to work and attend to family matters. However, it is highly recommended to avoid social interactions.

During The Dieta

The purpose of the Master Plant Dieta is for you to form a life-long relationship with incredibly wise plant spirits. Like any relationship, the energy you give will determine the energy and connection you receive – and ultimately the quality of the relationship. Sincere, authentic attention given to the plant throughout your fast will enable you to unlock guidance, information and energy stored within the plant, and seek essential answers that will aid you in your healing journey.

Abstaining from certain foods and activities throughout the dieta is a powerful expression of dedication and commitment to change, evolution, and growth. Your willingness to sacrifice aesthetic and visceral pleasures for the period of the fast demonstrates that you are determined to heal and are ready to receive guidance, strength, protection, and the endowment of special abilities from the plant spirit. It is imperative to limit the amount of food during the day and avoid particular food or activities.

We will send you the list of the food and activities to avoid after registration and a recorded video on setting up a Master Plant Dieta from home.

Post Dieta

After the Dieta is complete, our maestro Don Miguel will inform you of the duration and the requirements of our Post-Dieta. This is a mandatory practice to cultivate and integrate the connection made with the spirit of Noya Rao safely.

The Post Dieta may involve the abstinence of:
Pork, Sexual Activities, Alcohol, street drugs for some time.

Shipibo Curandero

AKA Senen Yoi - 'Speaking the Truth'

Don Miguel was born into a Shipibo community called Roaboya on the River Ucayali. When Don Miguel was a child, Angel Sanchez Vargas, his grandfather was the community’s curandero. Vargas was an expert in sacred plant medicines and was frequently called upon to heal and share his spiritual wisdom with members of Roaboya. The school built some years later was named after Vargas and Roaboya went on to be recognised as the first indigenous community 114 years ago. Don Miguel grew up surrounded by the Shipibo wisdom and possess intimate knowledge of the sacred plant medicines. At a very young age he began his apprenticeship as a curandero through plant dietas under the supportive guidance of his grandfather. Miguel is also a trained literature professor and thoroughly enjoys teaching the Shipibo language and culture. Since 2012, Don Miguel has spent the bulk of his time leading lectures, workshops, initiation courses and retreats. Don Miguel will lead our Ayahuasca ceremonies, circle discussions and be available for personal consultations whilst on retreat.

Women’s retreat Lead Facilitator

Born in the United States, Adelina began her healing path at the young age of 5 with deep initiations through the womb. Modern-day medicine saved her life and would later unfold her dharma. Rooted in her Native American and Italian heritage, she began communing with the dreamworld and spirits in her early teens. She has always felt deeply guided by her ancestors. In 2011, Adelina graduated from university with a Bachelor’s in Human Behavior and Health Education, intending to attend medical school. She instead enrolled in Massage School and now specializes in modalities such as Polarity, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Trauma Bodywork. Shortly after, she was then guided to Peru and received her 200 RYT in the Sacred Valley in 2015. On this trip, she met the Ancient Mother, Ayahuasca, which changed the course of her life path.

She received many instructions from this plant teacher and shared deep prayers of gratitude. Following the call, Adelina traveled to the sacred lands of Mount Shasta to complete her facilitation certification in Clarity Breathwork. The sacred medicine continued to speak with her in dreams until she met with her again and full trust of this path was born. She has spent the past 3 years assisting in circles and helping in ceremonies. After holding space for so many, she began to realize the importance of grounded integration while working with such intelligent plant allies. This led to an in-depth focus on somatic studies, attachment theory, non-violent communication, and mind-body practices. Coming from a bloodline of addiction and sexual trauma, a lot came to surface while studying. She returned to the amazon to sit with Maestra Juanita and the Master Plant Noya Rao at AYA Healing Retreat Center in 2019 – where her respect for this path deepened even more.

Adelina is now focused on supporting people as they move through their traumas, addictions, ancestral conditions, and unaligned habits. She travels creating sacred spaces through sound healing, dance, breath-work, and somatic body awareness to help reprogram the subconscious. She is fully committed to helping people prepare and integrate their experiences with these ancient plants. Forever a student, she bows in deep gratitude to these sacred medicines and the lineages that hold them in protection.
