WOMEN’S RETREAT: EMPOWERING THE DIVINE FEMININE

14 DAYS
tropical bird

Overview

The divine feminine is the expression of the ancient mother in all of her forms. From this space creativity, compassion, intuition, and collaboration flow endlessly. When in balance, you can feel the potency of this force through vulnerability, grace, courage, humility, and strength. To connect to the divine feminine is to become fully aligned to the sacred light within. In this space, the heart remains open to allow spirit to guide, the mind does not interrupt the flow of love, and you are no longer looking outside of yourself for fulfillment. Once rested in the womb of the mother, there is a deep remembrance that all life is connected, nothing is separate, and every moment is an opportunity to feel this beauty. This radiance and bliss create a deep peace in the heart and the ultimate surrender reveals all truth.

This retreat is beautifully designed to allow space for sisterhood as well as sacred time with self and these wise plant allies. During these 21 days, there will be specific containers curated for processing and integrating your experiences. Some of the time will be spent sharing, connecting, and co-creating with the earth and one another. You will be embodying the divine feminine through dance workshops, psychologic, sound, vocal activation, medicinal yoni steam bath on women’s circle ceremony, dances of universal peace, and oral and dynamic transmissions. There will also be space for us to become more quiet and internal through guided meditation, sound healing, yoga, womb clearing, and Mindfulness. The second week will be in silence so you can commune more deeply with the wisdom of these plants and the potency of the Shipibo lineage that will be holding you.

Noya Rao Dieta

Noya Rao which is otherwise known as “The Tree of Life” or “Camino a la Verdad” – The Path of Truth is a mythical plant, of which there are only three in the entire Amazon Basin. has belonged to and been used in sacred ceremony by the Mahua Shipibo traditions for centuries. In the Shipibo tradition dieting on the bark of the Noya Rao is believed to be essential in the path towards becoming a healer. The tree is believed to enhance one’s connection and relationships to the spirits indwelling in other sacred plants and to facilitate profound transformation in the individual. This dieta can lead to greater capacity for organised thought, clarity, highly activated intuitive capacities as well as helping to bring to light unconscious assumptions one may have about the world, leading the dietero to have the newfound courage necessary to change them.

The Power of Sisterhood

In the tapestry of human tradition, women have long congregated to share wisdom, offer prayers, sing soulful melodies, and dance with abandon. These sacred assemblies forge a robust vessel of support and unity, dissolving any inclinations towards comparison and rivalry within the sisterhood. Instead, the emphasis is placed on mutual support through the myriad of life’s experiences – be it hardship, pain, joy, or celebration. This environment cultivates an unparalleled level of safety, empowering each woman to voice her deepest truths and to be fully acknowledged.

In today’s world, marked by vastly differing lifestyles, the profound connection and nurturing of female bonds in such depth have become rare. Recognizing the vital need for this ancient practice, we are devoted to rekindling the sacred ways of the Divine Feminine, encouraging women to weave their diverse gifts together. This collective endeavor aims to reignite the divine feminine spirit, acknowledging that while each woman holds incredible individual power, together, we embody a formidable force of love capable of healing across all realms of life.

The journey of reclaiming your feminine power commences at the heart of our sacred womb – the cradle of life itself. Engaging with Juanita and the sacred plants is an affirmation of your commitment to purify your temple body. This cleansing process extends beyond personal liberation, reaching back through your lineage to honor and heal the experiences of the women who have come before you, and paving a path of light for future generations.

This is a transformative period where you have the opportunity to harmonize the Throat-Heart-Womb nexus within the feminine essence. In doing so, your sensual energy is transmuted into a vibrant force for change, converting karma into dharma. When the divine feminine stands firm and balanced, the reclamation of power flows from the heart in a state of perfect harmony, purity, and equilibrium. From this sacred space, every song finds its voice, and every dance its rhythm, heralding the full expression of the divine feminine spirit.

Kris

Facilitator

Kris has been living for seven years in the Peruvian Amazon. Originally from Barcelona, she followed a calling to be of service to the indigenous elders. As soon as she arrived, Kris deeply immersed herself in the traditional knowledge of the rainforest.

She was an on-site facilitator and administrator for an Ayahuasca retreat center for five years. Her role enabled Kris to work closely with Ayahuasca and other plant medicines, facilitating Ayahuasca retreats and plant medicine dietas. She helped participants integrate and process their experiences and made sure the retreats ran smoothly.

For the past six years, Kris has forged a deep and very close relationship with the Matses tribe, who initiated and taught her how to work traditionally with Kambo.
During her time in the rainforest, Kris has worked and collaborated with many powerful curanderos from different lineages and tribes, giving her a broad depth of knowledge about Amazonian plant medicines.

Those experiences ignited a passionate love for Amazonian herbalism, and she has dived deep into plant medicine alchemy for the past seven years.

Kris currently works at Aya Healing Retreats, facilitating the groups and establishing a deep connection with the local Shipibo community.
She also offers Amazonian Herbalism training courses and has started her apothecary creating pure essences from these Amazonian plants and Master Plants.

Kris is a solid bridge keeper between the indigenous cultures and practices of the Amazon, and the West, bringing a unique perspective from her direct experience.
Kris is a strong jungle medicine woman with a kind heart that is always ready to help those in need; she is a faithful caretaker of the forest and the indigenous traditions.

Women’s retreat Lead Facilitator

Born in the United States, Adelina began her healing path at the young age of 5 with deep initiations through the womb. Modern-day medicine saved her life and would later unfold her dharma. Rooted in her Native American and Italian heritage, she began communing with the dreamworld and spirits in her early teens. She has always felt deeply guided by her ancestors. In 2011, Adelina graduated from university with a Bachelor’s in Human Behavior and Health Education, intending to attend medical school. She instead enrolled in Massage School and now specializes in modalities such as Polarity, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Trauma Bodywork. Shortly after, she was then guided to Peru and received her 200 RYT in the Sacred Valley in 2015. On this trip, she met the Ancient Mother, Ayahuasca, which changed the course of her life path.

She received many instructions from this plant teacher and shared deep prayers of gratitude. Following the call, Adelina traveled to the sacred lands of Mount Shasta to complete her facilitation certification in Clarity Breathwork. The sacred medicine continued to speak with her in dreams until she met with her again and full trust of this path was born. She has spent the past 3 years assisting in circles and helping in ceremonies. After holding space for so many, she began to realize the importance of grounded integration while working with such intelligent plant allies. This led to an in-depth focus on somatic studies, attachment theory, non-violent communication, and mind-body practices. Coming from a bloodline of addiction and sexual trauma, a lot came to surface while studying. She returned to the amazon to sit with Maestra Juanita and the Master Plant Noya Rao at AYA Healing Retreat Center in 2019 – where her respect for this path deepened even more.

Adelina is now focused on supporting people as they move through their traumas, addictions, ancestral conditions, and unaligned habits. She travels creating sacred spaces through sound healing, dance, breath-work, and somatic body awareness to help reprogram the subconscious. She is fully committed to helping people prepare and integrate their experiences with these ancient plants. Forever a student, she bows in deep gratitude to these sacred medicines and the lineages that hold them in protection.
