DURING THE NOYA RAO visionary art RETREAT

What to Expect

line maste verde

This unique retreat bridges the sacred practice of Master Plant Dieta with visionary art classes and workshops, held in deep relationship with the spirit of Noya Rao, the Tree of Light. Guided by respected Shipibo maestros and a master visionary artist LUIS TAMANI, you’ll explore art as a spiritual tool, through observation, practice, and ceremony, within a culturally rooted container.

For many of us, creativity has been muted by fear, perfectionism, or comparison. This immersion offers a gentle path to reclaim your creative voice and translate visions into form. Through mindful, embodied art practices you’ll dissolve limiting beliefs, refine technique, and reconnect with authentic expression.

In Shipibo tradition, song and pattern are bridges between the human and plant worlds. Within a traditional dieta, the student enters into sacred relationship with the plant spirit—receiving guidance through visions, melodies (ícaros), and patterns. As the dieta deepens, images, forms, and colors often arrive as teachings. Your studio practice becomes prayer, and your artwork a vessel for communion and integration.

To support your journey, you’ll receive daily guidance in sketching, composition, color, and visionary techniques, paired with meditation, breath, and integration practices.

No formal art background is required—only a willingness to observe deeply, practice with humility, and let Spirit move through your hands.

  • Guided by Shipibo Healers

Work with respected Shipibo maestros who carry deep ancestral knowledge of plant medicine and the sacred use of ícaros. Their guidance will support your dieta with Noya Rao, creating a container where vision, energy, and spirit meet.

  • Sacred Ceremonies

Participate in traditional Ayahuasca ceremonies in a safe, traumainformed setting. Each ceremony offers a space for healing, learning, and the emergence of your unique creative medicine and guided by the spirit of Noya Rao.

  • Visionary Art Activation & Personalized Support

Explore art as a channel for healing and selfexpression. Through stepbystep classes, demonstrations, and guided practice, you’ll reconnect with your inner sight, which is held in a respectful, inclusive studio space. No prior art training required

  • Master Plant Dieta: Noya Rao

Engage in a traditional Master Plant Dieta with Noya Rao. Through silence, intention, and song, you’ll cultivate a relationship with her spirit—receiving images, melodies, and teachings that illuminate your path and inform your artwork

  • Support Beyond the Medicine

Beyond ceremonies and studio work, the retreat includes jungle walks, floral baths, integrative practices, and rest. This holistic rhythm supports body, mind, and spirit—helping you carry the teachings of Noya Rao into daily life.

  • Culturally Rooted

We honor the Shipibo tradition while integrating modern therapeutic principles. Practices are held with consent, clarity, and care, allowing your process to unfold safely and guided by the wisdom of the plants and the creative process.

Your Healing & Creative Journey with Noya Rao

Your retreat includes 4 traditional Ayahuasca ceremonies, held in a sacred, traumainformed setting and guided by experienced Shipibo healers. Each ceremony is supported by personalized energetic work and the spiritual presence of Noya Rao, inviting deep listening through vision, song, kené (sacred pattern), and silence.

Beyond the ceremonies, you will engage in a Master Plant Dieta, a sacred process of connection with the plant spirit through intention and discipline. The dieta is designed to support spiritual, emotional, and vibrational transformation, allowing your creative channel to awaken as a bridge to the spirit world.

Visionary Artist

Luis Tamani is a visionary artist born in the Peruvian Amazon and raised along the sacred banks of the Ucayali River. From an early age, nature was his teacher—the forest, the waters, and the quiet language of trees shaping his way of seeing and creating.

In 2002, Luis began formal studies at the Eduardo Meza Saravia School of Art in Pucallpa, immersing himself in techniques across realism, cubism, and abstraction. Over time, his work evolved toward a more organic and spiritually alive expression—one that honors nature not only for its beauty, but for its wisdom. His paintings explore the meeting place between human consciousness and the intelligence of the natural world, inviting viewers to remember their belonging to the greater web of life.

Guided by humility and reverence, Luis paints what he feels when he listens deeply: the whispers of the forest, the songs of the plants, and the presence that moves beneath all forms. His creative process is both study and devotion, a bridge between the seen and the unseen.

For many years, he has shared this path with others—supporting students to translate inner vision into form with patience, discipline, and joy. In his studio and workshops, he encourages a gentle return to the creative source, where color and form become tools for communion, healing, and harmony.
